While we are excited about our nonprofit, we also want to make sure that our nonprofit is not there just for the sake of it and that it is producing meaningful outcomes.
With that in mind, we are tracking the impact resulting from provision of menstrual health and hygiene (MHH) in terms of products delivery, education and knowledge.
Given below are the metrics and activities we are keeping track of in terms of Yes/ No questions.
Impact on School Experience: If you’re assured of monthly supply of pads for your needs, then
Do you feel confident @ not missing school?
Do you feel confident @ staying in school whole day?
Do you feel you can focus better in class?
Do you feel your academic performance will improve because you’re not missing the school?
Impact on Social / Cultural Experience – If you’re assured of monthly supply of pads for your needs, then
Do you feel confident @ walking and/or taking public transportation
Do you feel confident @ doing extracurricular activities (e.g. sports, light exercises)
Do you feel confident @ mingling with friends or going to social events?
Knowledge and Awareness – Since this program was introduced,
Do you think you’re able to impart this knowledge to other girls if needed?
Do you think you’re able to talk and discuss about period-related matters more comfortably?
Do you think it has helped to clear up misinformation, myths @ menstruation?
Do you feel that the stigma and taboo around this topic should be reduced or eliminated?
We are excited about the mission we are on.
Stay tuned.
